Extrabrains Privacy Policy

Hey! Thanks for checking this page out. We tried to make it not too dull and technical. We will guide you through our policies on collection and usage of personal data we receive from the visitors of this website. You will learn that the process is transparent and you control what you are willing to share with us.

We do believe that privacy is essential and is becoming a component of pleasant experience of using any service. As a marketing agency, we encourage our clients to follow the same logic in handling personal data.

The main reasons we collect information are:
- We want to improve our services to make our clients even happier
- As a marketing agency, we want to showcase some of the bells and whistles from our arsenal.

We hope that reading this page will keep you awake. If you got too tired to read it all through, want to ask or comment something – we’re happy to hear from you at extra@extrabrains.net

Our Client’s policies

We help different businesses succeed online. We do that by providing consultancy, creating websites, products, and all sorts of marketing communication. We are a service provider for our Clients. We act as a data processor for the companies who use our services. This means we help our Clients setup the marketing systems and develop the content. We do not have access to their databases and do not act on their behalf. Our Privacy policy does not reflect or affect the policies of our Clients. We are not responsible for the way our Clients handle data.

Personal data Extrabrains collects

Extrabrains processes your personal data when using our services and/or by providing this information to us. Here’s the list of personal data we handle:
- First and last name
- IP address
- E-mail address
- Other information that you actively share with us, for example by creating a profile on this site, in correspondence and by telephone
- Location data
- Information about your activities on our site
- Internet browser and device type

We do not have the intention to collect the data from visitors who are younger than 16 years. The sad thing is that we cannot prevent a minor from visiting our site. If you believe that we collected the data of a minor without parents’ consent – please get in touch with us at extra@extrabrains.net. We will immediately remove this data from our inventory.

Why we process personal data

This is how exactly we are going to use the personal data about our visitors.

- Sending out our stories and advertisements by email

- Giving you the opportunity to create an account with our service
- Improving the user experience of our website based on the browsing behaviour of our users

We store your data precisely for how long it takes to serve the goals mentioned above.

We use cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your smartphone, tablet or computer and used by web browsers to anonymously identify a user. This means that there is neither intent nor technical possibility to track down a real person behind a cookie file. What it does is ensures that all the settings you adjusted during the previous visits to our site are kept during your next visits. It also allows to customise the site to your device and make sure that all functionalities of the site work correctly. We also use cookies that keep track of your browsing habits. This allows tailoring our content to your preferences without bothering you with questions.

This allows us to enrich your browsing experience within our website and target our advertisements towards your interests.  We share your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and to follow any legal obligation. With companies that process your data according to our request, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.
